On Tuesday, July 27th I will be taking over a small cafe in Squamish to hold a special dinner celebrating all that is good and true in the world. Some friends of mine recently bought the Sunwolf Outdoor Centre in the Squamish Valley and it seemed like a great reason to get some locals and city-folk together for a night of food revelry. The menu will be four courses (posted below) with an Italian slant and include plenty of fresh, tasty vegetables from my landlord?s small farm, located nearby in the Paradise Valley. The? location is amazing, sitting right next to the Chekamus river and under the shadow of the beautiful Tantalus mountain range.
If you’re driving from Vancouver, take Highway 99 north towards Squamish. Pass through Squamish and continue for 10km towards Whistler. Take a left at Squamish Valley Rd. (across from the Alice Lake turnoff) and continue for 4 km. Turn right at the Sunwolf Outdoor Centre and eat food. Allow about an hour of travel time from Vancouver. Dinner will be served around 7:30 pm, but come anytime before that to grab a drink and enjoy the beautiful property. If you?re interested in booking a seat, email me at butterontheendive@gmail.com or call me at 778-989-9349 to save your spot. There is only about 40 seats left, so act fast.
