Vancouver is oh so very pizza-obsessed so the Wiese borthers (founders of Davie Street’s La Brasserie) are smartly capitalizing on this trend, once again choosing a West End location, this time at Cardero and Bidwell. Fabrika, meaning factory will open mid-June and will present menu of a dozen or so traditionally-based pizza’s with the obligatory San Marzano Tomatoes and European cheeses, but funked up with a few innovative toppings.
Along with the pies there will be side dishes, salads, desserts in a jar, and global wines and craft beers by the bottle jug and carafe.
Dine casually in the twenty five seat room, or pick up to go. This may just be the star of your 2014 summer beach menus.
