As of January 2010, for a period of 2 months, the Italian Chamber of Commerce will collect applications from Italian restaurants in British Columbia and Alberta to present them as candidates for the 1st International Italian Hospitality Award.
Selected applicants will be inspected and certified as authentic Italian restaurants, based upon the approval of the International Commission in Italy.
Approved restaurants will receive certificates, plaques and other official materials and will be candidates for the World Italian Restaurant Award 2010.
