Red Card Sports Bar is home to a high-tech, “Marani Forni” wood-burning pizza oven, capable of producing eighteen pizzas in two minutes, and a chef team trained to perfection by an Italian pizza expert. Two special pizza creations have been added to the menu for the duration of the Games, to honour celebrated Olympians who will be competing for medals:
• “The Glider” pizza honors Giorgio Di Centa, Italy’s chosen flag-bearer and cross-country skier, featuring mushrooms and prosciutto, both popular ingredients in Di Centa’s home region of Tolmezzo.
• “The Goalie” pizza celebrates Vancouver Canucks superstar and home-grown Olympian, Roberto Luongo, featuring locally-smoked salmon, mozzarella and mascarpone.
Podium Cocktails add the finishing touch to this stylish celebration; Raise a glass to our athletes, whether celebrating Bronze (Southern Comfort, Absolut Mandarin, orange bitters), Silver (Absolut Vodka, Creme de Cacao and coconut water) or prized Gold (Metaxa, Goldschlager, apple juice and Prosecco).
