Renowned industry magazine names Abbotsford restaurant one of North America’s best for its wine menu

Management at Restaurant 62 is pleased to announce that their restaurant has once again earned the prestigious 2011 Wine Spectator Award of Excellence. The award marks the fifth year in a row that the Abbotsford restaurant has been recognized for its outstanding wine menu by Wine Spectator Magazine. Restaurant 62 is the only Fraser Valley restaurant to earn the highly acclaimed award.

The annual Wine Spectator restaurant wine list award winners are chosen from thousands of entries and are selected based on a number of criteria including the variety, depth of vintage, number of regions represented, and attention to cuisine pairing. Restaurant 62, along with the full list of award recipients, was highlighted in the August issue of Wine Spectator Magazine.

Restaurant 62 has received the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence every year since 2006. Earlier this year Restaurant 62’s executive chef, Jeff Massey was named one of the Top Forty Foodies Under 40 by Western Living Magazine.
