The winning email from our last newsletter belongs to Jeannie who asked what kind of salt to use for everyday cooking.
At the restaurant and at home I use a fine sea salt for seasoning and cooking with. Sea salt is natural where as table salt is highly refined and processed. I also find that the sea salt has a more subtle flavour than sharper tasting table salt. Sea salt can be found at all supermarkets and is not overly expensive. To let you see the difference, when you come in for your prize dinner, I will give you a box of the sea salt we use so you can try it at home!
