The BCLDB has purchased a selection of premium wines from South Africa for an exclusive autumn release.  On Monday, July 27 2009, Wines of South Africa’s (WOSA) Director of Wine Education, Andre Morgenthal, will host a special evening seminar that will give consumers an opportunity to sample and learn about the wines before they arrive.
WOSA is particularly pleased by the BCLDB’s decision to purchase this small quantity of high-quality South African wines, as it will significantly improve the selection of South African wines they offer to B.C.’s consumers.  The special release is a response to requests from consumers and media who have been asking that more South African wines be made available.

Consumers and buyers can pre- order the wines at the event.
Attendance at the event is a suggested $10 donation at the door to the BC Hospitality Foundation.  The Foundation is dedicated to supporting individuals within the hospitality community who are coping with extraordinary costs arising from a serious health crisis.  Formed in 2006, it provides financial assistance, beyond traditional benefits, to individuals in times of critical medical need.
