Slow Food is Good, Clean and Fair
An Interactive Tasting with our Friends from the Vancouver Chapter of the ‘Slow Food Movement’
This is a charity event with 10% of sales and all donations going to the Slow Food Movement to support local grower and artisanal producers. Meet the local producers and learn more about slow food.
…in classic Kitsilano Daily Style we will be shopping the local markets on April 16th and buying the ‘best of the best’ local produce, meats and seafood available. Sustainable, local and organic. A six course 100% local and organic Culinary Adventure will be created using classic pairings of old world grape varietals. We will contrast and compare the old world wine with organic BC wines of the same varietal with each course.
Because we do not believe in staunch rules at Kits Daily we will be featuring a few non-traditional pairings, which may include artisanal sake, cask beer and local spirits.
These events are interactive, loud and involve participation. Consider it an advanced food and wine event and be prepared. Do not drive to the event and wear clothing that may get damaged if a cask of beer explodes or other similar events occur.
These dinners sell out quickly at just $85 per person. Please make your reservations early through our website at www.kitsdaily.com and enter the promotional code: SlowFood 2012.
