On Wednesday, August 3 2011 Burnaby’s Hart House at Deer Lake fêtes the flavours of France with its annual Evening in Provence garden party.  Guests will enjoy a tasting of French wines, followed by al fresco dinner accompanied by live music for $52.

The garden party will begin with a relaxed outdoor tasting of premium wines from some of France’s most renowned appellations.  They may then purchase a favourite bottle or two from the evening’s specially-selected wine list to pair with the three-course dinner that follows.  The menu will feature French-inspired dishes made with fresh countryside ingredients and local seafood, and dinner will be accompanied by live renditions of romantic French ballads.  The combination of music, fine cuisine, and excellent wine will allow guests to enjoy this summer evening to its fullest.
