Woo hoo! I won 30 days of wraps from Eat Chicken Wraps a few weeks ago. Being the busy gal I am I still haven’t made it downtown to try one yet! Yesterday’s mission was to grab a pal and start the 30 wrap mission. Alas the truck was not there at the time we checked, but no worries, the Street Food City was on at the Vancouver Art Gallery. Chicken wrap post next week, ok?
Be forewarned, there are too many trucks to choose from. You might want to bring friends to share or go for the next 3 days in a row (on until the 26th) so you can sample at least a few. Good chance to take a peek at the trucks you haven’t tried yet as well and plan for future visits. Click here for information on where and when these trucks are open around the city when not at the Art Gallery. Aren’t you so glad you have me to think of these things for you? :o)
Choices include: JJ’s Trucketeria, Roaming Dragon, Feastro, Holy Perogy, Dougie Dog, REEL Mac, Aussie Pie, Reef Runner, Vij’s Railway Express, Roaming Dragon, Guanaco, Le Tigre, Tacofino, Mom’s Grilled Cheese, Soho Road, Mangal Kiss, Yolks, Eli Serious, Mogu, Chili Tank, Taser, Kaboom Box, and The Juice Truck.
Le Tigre Cuisine was too appealing with the chef’s hello kitty glasses and the Shao Bing back on the menu. Grabbed two of these flaky beef-filled numbers and a papaya salad with just the right kick of spice to split and we were set.
Ran into a few friends who seemed to have a similar great idea to head down to this Dine Out Vancouver event.
