Matthew Sherlock has been working professionally in the wine industry for 8 years. He holds a BA from the University of British Columbia and has his Advanced Certificate from the London based Wine and Spirits Education Trust. He has completed three of four levels of the WSET Diploma. In addition to owning a restaurant Matthew has worked as a bar manager and Sommelier and teaches industry focused wine courses through the School of Mix. He also leads regional food and wine pairing classes through the Quince Catering Company. He has done vintage work in New Zealand and Sonoma as well as here in the Okanagan Valley. Matthew currently manages the Kitsilano Wine Cellar and the Point Grey Beer and Wine Cellar. He continues to taste and travel and recently returned from an extensive tasting trip in Oregon’s Willamette Valley.
