Maybe this is the year that we watch The Oscars, or at least the red carpet part. There’s many a house party we’ve heard and if you’re invited to one, perfect, if not there’s still a few spots around town to celebrate.

Oscar Party at El Camino’s
Catch the Academy Awards during El Camino’s annual Oscar Party on Sunday, February 28, from 3 – 8 pm. Oscar-themed fun will take centre stage during the soiree, including rousing games of Oscar Bingo. Food and drink specials will be offered (including a Bocadillo and a Pacifico for $12). And of course — the Academy Awards! The El Camino’s team will be dressed to impressed and guests are encouraged to wear their glamour gear and walk the red carpet upon arrival. Cinema
Oscars night isn’t just the biggest night of the year in Hollywood, it’s also the biggest night of the year for movie fans everywhere. Donnelly Group will again be hosting a special Oscars Night celebration at Cinema Public House during the 88th Annual Academy Awards on Sunday February 28th.

Cinema will be dressed up and decorated for the occasion and, with a red carpet and photo wall, and paparazzi on hand to snap photos, the party will allow guests to unleash their inner star they enjoy the show live and in HD. Along with a delicious three-course menu, special Remy Martin cocktails will be featured throughout the party.

Actor Jaime Callica and Ed Garcia of CFOX are the hosts for the party and they’ll keep the evening moving, even when the action slows down on TV. Prizes will be given out throughout the evening including the two most important awards, Best Dressed Male and Best Dressed Female. The Cinema Oscars Party begins at 4pm and will run all night.
