Chocolatier Opens Kitsilano Location
Vancouver, BC – For those with a nose for chocolate and freshly baked croissants, an unmistakable trail now leads to Thomas Haas’ new second location on Vancouver’s westside.
The 1400 square foot West Broadway location in Kitsilano is the latest endeavour from one of North America’s Top Ten Chocolatiers (Dessert Professional magazine, December 2009). The new storefront location is a mixed space of retail, patisserie and cafe. All Thomas Haas creations are baked fresh daily on premises from his signature double baked almond croissants, tarts and cakes to a selection of savoury paninis.
“Over the past five years, we’ve realized that our biggest and most loyal following for products comes from our retail customers,” says Thomas. “We hope that our West Broadway location will make it much easier for Westsiders to visit us and enjoy what we do.”
Store Highlights:Step inside to a beautifully honed terrazzo floor and look beyond a Rosso Levanto marble front counter filled with exquisite Thomas Haas creations. His new patisserie is a modern take on old world cafes and chocolate shops with a twist. From the intricate patterned ceiling based upon the chocolate molecule to the custom walnut cabinetry, the new space is warm and inviting when only Thomas Haas will do.
