Powell River’s Townsite Brewing has brewed up the perfect storm in their oatmeal stout. Pours the darkest of browns with a nice head of foam. On the nose there is molasses, bitter chocolate, toasted nuts and coffee with some baked fig.

Starts a bit sweet and follows up with cocoa, coffee and walnut flavours. Immensely complex and enjoyable. Thankfully lives up to it’s name.
