Tracy Dueck, the owner of Tracycakes Bakery Cafe, is pleased to bring her popular cupcake cafe back to Fort Langley, the community where she originally opened her first location in 2006. The doors to Dueck’s third bistro-chic cafe will open on Friday, June 4th at 23170 96th Avenue in Fort Langley. A grand opening celebration is scheduled for Saturday, June 12th.
“We’re so thrilled to be home again in the community that first embraced us for our cupcakes, high teas, homemade lunches and snacks,” said Tracy Dueck, the owner of Tracycakes Bakery Cafe. “We’ve had so many people say we were missed in the Fort after we closed last year. So when the new location became available, we thought it was absolutely perfect for Tracycakes and we jumped at the chance to make a come back!”
A grand opening event will be held on Saturday, June 12th when Tracycakes will be offering free babycakes to the first 100 people who visit the cafe. The cafe staff will also be giving away coupons and inviting customers to enter a ballot contest to win one dozen cupcakes for every month of an entire year.
The new cafe will serve Tracycakes signature cupcakes in over 40 varieties, including a specially made Fort Langley cupcake called “Remember When”, a vanilla cherry chocolate chip cupcake that celebrates the friendships and memories Tracycakes has in Fort Langley. The cafe will also serve its made-from-scratch menu which includes an assortment of lunch items, snacks, high teas and sweets. All menu items, including cupcakes are available in the dining room or for take out. Catering and custom cupcake orders are also available. In the next few weeks, Tracycakes will open a “cupcake boutique”, a retail area within the cafe where decorative cupcake items will be for sale.
The new cafe features initmate casual dining in the main dining room, plus a private party room for large groups. Guests will also have the option to dine outside on the beautiful garden patio. The cafe will be available for private parties and special events like bridal and baby showers, birthday parties and corporate events.
