If you think men are the only ones who like to brew and drink beer, this night will prove otherwise. Not just for the ladies, men and women are both encouraged to experience what some of the BC Craft Brewing industry’s finest females have on offer. Kick off the evening sampling Saltspring Island Ales with Lesley Stowe’s Raincoast Crisps and Saltspring Cheeses. Next, enjoy as The Refinery’s own Chef Mike Carter pairs four courses of delicious offerings with beers from R&B, Howe Sound, Cannery, and more Saltspring Ales. Cap the night with Crannog Ales ‘Back Hand of God’ Stout matched with handmade chocolates from Vancouver’s own CocoaNymph.
Still not enough? How about you take home a bag filled with swag, including items from Lush and a gift certificate for a sweet skin facial from Skoah ($35 dollar value)… need we say more?
Only 70 tickets are available.
It was a fantastic night! Great crowd, eats, beer, DJ, atmosphere … everything was top notch. I blogged about it here, in case you missed the event: http://www.rubysuitcase.com/2010/05/18/vancouver-craft-beer-week-unites-women-and-beer/
