Full Fruit Trees? The Fruit Tree Project Can Help!
The Vancouver Fruit Tree Project Society is dedicated to harvesting and sharing neighbourhood fruit.
Volunteers harvest extra fruit from backyard fruit trees and redistribute it to community groups. In the past 12 years we have picked more than 35, 000 pounds of fruit and redistributed it to community centres, neighbourhood houses, daycares and other community groups.
The VFTP has the capacity to pick more backyard fruit this season. People interested in driving the bike trailer, people with fruit trees, and people interested in volunteering can contact the Coordinator at info@vancouverfruittree.com or call 778 960 5232
