ANNA OLSON, LIVE ON THE HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS STAGE

Holiday entertaining and home decorating ideas are presented on the Home for the Holidays Stage with this year’s headliner; Food Network superstar Anna Olson who will demonstrate and offer tips on holiday cooking, baking & entertaining.

Sounds of the Holidays Stage

Hear the sounds of the holidays with live performances by local musicians and choirs. Performances all weekend.
Groups include: Abbotsford Traditional Concert Band & Musical Theatre; Fraser Valley Community Winds; MEI Chamber Singers; Surrey Youth Orchestra; Takes Two!; MEI Renaissance Singers & Junior Chorale; Toby Beaulieu; South Fraser Community Band; Golden Ears Jazz Band; Peace Arch Chorus; Dynamic Music Instruction; Abbotsford Secondary School.

KIDS! Make your own model plane or car & check out the huge Model Train display

The Fraser Valley Model Club will have model car and plane kits for kids 8 and older to assemple and take home, FREE!  Also check out the huge model train set up by Fraser Valley G Scale Club & Friends, a West Coast Christmas tradition.

FESTIVAL OF TREES

Walk amongst these beautifully decorated trees that charitable organizations have decorated to compete for a grand prize. Visitors can also win a prize package by voting for their favourite tree!

THE Fluff DESIGN TEAM, LIVE ON THE HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS STAGE

The Fluff design team will be on stage all weekend with their presentation: “Hot for the Holidays” will be not only about Christmas but also about New Years. We will be giving  tips on what’s hot not just for Christmas but throughout the entire Holiday Season.

PHOTOS WITH SANTA, YOUR KIDS AND PETS

Santa will be on-site, ready to kick start the Holiday season, and a professional photographer will take pictures of your kids and perts with Santa for a donation to the Network for Animals charitable organization. Santa will be on the show floor during the following times over the weekend:
Friday – Santa’s hours: 3:30 pm – 7:30 pm
Saturday – Santa’s hours: Noon – 4 pm
Sunday –  Santa’s hours: 11 am – 3 pm

CHEESE SEMINARS (Free)

Dairy Farmers of Canada will be hosting 13 seminars on Canadian cheese during three days at the West Coast Christmas Show.

    • How to organize A Wine & Cheese evening
    • How to serve and store cheeses
    • Differences between the crusts and textures of cheeses
    • Cheese and wine pairings
