Event organizers today unveiled details of the 14th Annual Clayoquot Oyster Festival www.oystergala.com to be held in Tofino, British Columbia, from November 19-21, 2010.
The Clayoquot Oyster Festival caters to food lovers from around the world who travel to Tofino each year to experience a variety of culinary and educational events including oyster farm tours, a costume ball and a gala dinner showcasing unique oyster dishes prepared by the area’s renowned chefs.
“The Clayoquot Oyster Festival is Tofino at its best,” said Festival Coordinator, Bobby Lax. “We will sing, slurp, eat, dance and truly celebrate our local oyster. Where else in the world can a person dress up for a costume ball, see a respectable burlesque show, tour an oyster farm and attend a formal gala — and all the while indulging in fresh, delicious oysters?”
