Mixing Up a Pumpkin Margarita

It’s the American Thanksgiving next week and my cousin who lives in the US asked me to make a cocktail for her guests who don’t eat dessert. Like me. Knowing she would be making her fabulous pumpkin pies I knew she would have pumpkin purée on hand and she enjoys Tequila and here is the drink I made. A boozy creamy delicious ✨Pumpkin Margarita ✨ So to my family and friends in the U.S. on your Thanksgiving wishing you love, joy, peace and happiness. #whatskarendrinking

Pumpkin Margarita

Pumpkin Margarita

2 oz. reposado Tequila @cabowabotequila
.5 oz. triple sec or Cointreau.
.5 oz. pumpkin purée
.25 oz fresh lemon juice
1 oz. half and half cream (12% to 15% milk fat).
.5 oz. agave syrup (or simple syrup).
1 pinch of cinnamon
2 to 3 grates if nutmeg
2 dashes of Angostura Bitters.

Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Fine strain into a chilled cocktail glass. #cheers
