Get Cooking with the Zwilling Z-Cut
How’s your fall cooking coming along? I’m finding pumpkin on my mind, pork roasts, and fall baking and I am still enjoying all the great fresh produce that’s coming out of the farms and greenhouses because summer is just not finished yet. There are still strawberries coming out of the fields, and raspberries in my mother’s garden. I’m also spending more time playing around with kitchen tools such as the ZWILLING Z-Cut, which saves me more time in the kitchen. For more of my suggestions for Kitchen Tools from an episode I did on Global TV, including my favourite ZWILLING knife, read HERE.
I’ve done my fair share of slicing this summer (hello fresh cucumbers) and was trying out the new ZWILLING Z-Cut multi-grater, a multi-cutter, vegetable shaver and hand grater in one. It has a fine grater, medium grater, coarse grater, and slicer and slices up fruit and vegetables, hard cheese, and that chocolate you may have seen me melt and pour over the peanut butter board I made.
The blades cut two ways, so you’re slicing twice as fast, and you simply insert them into the removable food attachment and start grating. I’ve talked about my ZWILLING FRESH & SAVE food savers before in this article HERE in BC Living Magazine, and silly me, until just now I didn’t realize that these graters fit right over those vacuum boxes.
Here’s the rundown on the Zwilling Z-Cut:
- Compact 7-in-1 multifunctional grater
- Four exchangeable grating inserts for grating and slicing
- Attachment with finger protection for increased safety
- ZWILLING Z-Cut design with sharp two-way grating technology
- For optimal grating results with minimal effort
- Dishwasher-safe, sturdy, and durable
- Anti-slip pad for a secure grip however it’s used
- Suitable for FRESH & SAVE boxes in sizes M and L
