When I look out my window on mornings like these to nothing other than drear and misery, I try to remember that rain in Vancouver leads to snow on the hills and I fantasize about my escapes to snow capped mountains. On November 10-13 I’ll be heading up to Cornucopia in Whistler, a festival that combines food and wine in a setting that provides an escape from the city.
