Arts Club announces its 2010 Celebrity Chef Cooking Classes
The Arts Club Theatre Company is pleased to announce its 2010 Celebrity Chef Cooking Classes from April 28 to June 20. Now in its 8th year, this fundraising event for the Arts Club has grown from just two cooking classes into a two-month series of classes led by Vancouver’s top chefs.
Each intimate three-hour class begins with guests treated to bubbly in the beautiful kitchen of a private home. Every guest then becomes a hands-on sous chef as they assist in the preparation of a decadent three-course meal. Chefs share their passion for food and cooking, treating guests to anecdotes, hints, and tips of the trade. Just a few of the renowned chefs for 2010’s classes are Karen Barnaby, The Fish House in Stanley Park; Curtis Webb, Joe Fortes Restaurant; Ryan Gauthier, Italian Kitchen; Dino Renaerts, Fraiche; Jean-Francis & Alessandra Quaglia, Provence Restaurants; and Angus An, Maenam.
IN BRIEF: The Arts Club Theatre Company’s Celebrity Chef Cooking Classes run from April 28 to June 20 in private homes throughout the city. Tickets for each of these fundraising events for the Arts Club Theatre Company are $125 and include a $50 tax receipt ($100 each when booking more than one class, with a $25 tax receipt).
