The Osoyoos Oyster Festival – Sip, Slurp, and Stay in the South Okanagan

B.C. Oysters and South Okanagan Wine are the star attractions at the Osoyoos Oyster Festival on April 11 & 12, 2025. Join oyster lovers for the  Sip & Shuck event at the Osoyoos Golf and Country Club on Friday, April 11 from  5-7 p.m. and stay the weekend for The Black Pearl Gala held at Walnut Beach Resort on Saturday, April 12 from 6-9:30 p.m.

Friday’s Sip & Shuck at the Greenside Bar and Grill at the Osoyoos Golf and Country Club will feature oysters freshly shucked on the spot by Kelowna’s Codfathers Seafood Market.  Appetizers from the Osoyoos Golf Club and Kismet Estate Winery, Gold Hill Winery, Intersection Estate Winery, Nostalgia Wines, River Stone Estate Winery, Nk’Mip Cellars and Domaine Artema Winery will provide wine.

Walnut Beach Resort will host The Black Pearl Gala on April 12 at its Pointe 49° Kitchen & Bar, lobby lounge area, and poolside. The elegant evening will feature succulent oysters shucked on the spot by Codfathers along with unique and delightful canapés created by Walnut Beach’s new Executive Chef, Darien Rozsahegyi. The resort will also provide a pasta station with custom-made pasta dishes.

Local award-winning cocktails and wines from Osoyoos’ own Tumbleweed Spirits, Kismet Estate Winery, Gold Hill Winery, Intersection Estate Winery, Nostalgia Wines, Nk’Mip Cellars, and Burrowing Owl Estate Winery will pair with this sumptuous spread, and live entertainment will set the mood.
