Little Pots of Heaven
Classically French with intense, creamy flavours, Chocolate Pot au Crème should be enjoyed with port, espresso and/or big sunglasses and your best Parisian accent.
It’s currently being featured as a special dessert at LIFT, or for the ultimate encore at your next dinner party, try creating this decadent yet easy dessert.
Chocolate Pot au Crème
Serves 8
Ingredients:
- 2 cups / 500ml whipping cream
- 5 cups / 1250ml milk
- 5 oz / 140g dark, semi-sweet chocolate
- 6 egg yolks
- 1/3 cup / 43g sugar

The prized grapes of the Piedmont region of Italy show their stuff in this Italian blend of Nebbiolo, Barbera and Dolcetto (means “little sweet one” in Italian).
Piedmont is located in a landlocked, mountainous area famous for producing the largest number of best known, noble and award-winning red wines including legendary reds like Barolo.
Beni di Batasiolo Langhe Rosso 2008 delivers a balanced, medium-bodied pour with ripe red berry and plum on the nose and palate with a silky, smooth finish. A great food companion to several of our menu items including Steak Frites.
