From the Canadian Tenors to the Hotel’s Singing Concierge
Shangri-La Hotel, Vancouver celebrates the holidays with two new musical packages – one which includes an exclusive performance by the Canadian Tenors and the other that offers a chance to hear Shangri-La’s own singing concierge. The hotel will also fill the lobby for two weeks in December with children’s choirs performing Christmas carols.
On December 17, for one night only, the hotel offers “A Canadian Tenors Christmas” package and guests are invited to be part of a special evening, exclusive to Shangri-La Hotel, Vancouver. The world renowned Canadian Tenors will join an intimate group of guests in the hotel’s Xi Shi lounge at 5:00 p.m. to perform a few Christmas carols. You will have a chance to say hello, before you and the Tenors depart for the Queen Elizabeth Theatre for a full Canadian Tenors Christmas performance. From December 5 to 16, children’s choirs from throughout Vancouver will perform Christmas carols in the hotel’s lobby from 11:45 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Each weekday, a different school choir will bring favourite holiday songs to life. Everyone is invited to Shangri-La’s lobby to listen, and perhaps sing-a-long.
