Big White Ski Resort will be pouring the Big Reds during the third annual “Big Reds at Big White,” December 10, 2010. The eagerly awaited event celebrates the release of the red wines from the British Columbia Okanagan region. For skiers looking for a weekend getaway, Big Red packages are available that include lodging, free lift ticket, and entrance to the evening soiree.

Featuring the newest releases of the Bordeaux-style wines for the area, guests will be treated with wines from over 30 award-winning local wineries including Ex Nihilo, La Frenz, and Road 13 to name just a few. Executive Chef Bryce Broadhurst from Big White’s Kettle Valley Steak House will be working alongside Chef Chris Thomes from 6 Degrees and Vincent Denis from Sante Grille to prepare locally inspired appetizers to enjoy while savouring this season’s best. The traditionally sold-out event takes place from 6 through 9 pm in Big White’s Village Centre Mall. Tickets are priced at $50 per person.
