An oyster a day keeps colds away

Oyster Seafood and Raw Bar invites guests to ward off seasonal cold and flu ailments simply by enjoying lunch at Oyster. We know raw food is all the rage for its health benefits, but Oysters are filled with zinc and minerals. Throat lozenge anyone? Oil of Oregano? How about a couple of Oysters. And if raw is not your cup of tea, try the house made Oyster Pot Pie or hearty Chowder, sure to warm off the chill of Vancouver rainy season.

Oyster offers a broad choice of non oyster offerings; try the chopped shrimp salad, the delectable Lobster Butter mini Hoagies or the carnivore in the crowd the Philly Cheese Steak mini sandwich features AAA shaved rib eye with caramelized onions and aged cheddar. Sharing plates see a selection of Organic Ocean Wild Salmon Tartare, Crab Claw Cocktail and the always popular Steamer Bowls – clams, mussels or ALL In. Add some Potato Salad or an order of Garlic Toast and lunch is a done deal.

Oyster Seafood and Raw Bar, housed in the historic Stock Exchange building, circa 1929, celebrates the era of the 20’s and 30’s with a Speakeasy Lounge Evening every Thursday with DJ Steamboat Fattie and Friends. From 6pm DJ Steamboat Fattie spins vinyl and conjures up days of past and present, just as Oyster reflects the elegance of the early 20th century and the style of the 21st century. Get there early, take your coat off, but you can leave your hat on.
