A FUNDRAISER FOR MENTAL HEALTH ON JUNE 8, 2025
Vancouver’s culinary legends unite for one-night-only to honour Anthony Bourdain and raise funds for mental health support in the hospitality industry
On Sunday, June 8, 2025, three of Vancouver’s most acclaimed chefs – Pino Posteraro, Hidekazu Tojo, and Vikram Vij – will reunite together with 11 of their chef friends for The Three Amigos and Friends: A Fundraiser for Mental Health, a one-night-only fundraising dinner at Tojo’s (1133 W Broadway). The evening will honour their late friend Anthony Bourdain on the anniversary of his passing, while raising awareness for mental health in the hospitality industry. Part proceeds will support Mind the Bar and Foundry BC through the BC Hospitality Foundation.

The event is being presented by Prosciutto & Friends, held in partnership with S. Pellegrino.
“This dinner is not just about honouring Anthony’s memory,” says Posteraro, who helped put together the esteemed group of chefs. “It’s about continuing the conversation he helped start around mental health, especially in our industry. Vikram, Tojo, and I are thrilled to have so many incredible friends and wineries join us on this occasion.”
Bourdain’s visit to Vancouver was marked by his time spent with these three chefs, affectionately known as “the three amigos.” Together, they showcased the city’s vibrant and diverse food culture on his internationally acclaimed show, Parts Unknown.
Posteraro, Tojo, and Vij will be joined by a stellar lineup of chef friends, including:
Angus An (Full House Hospitality)
Robert Clark (Organic Ocean)
JC Felicella and Frances Flores (Canadian Culinary Centre and Culinary Olympics)
Robert Feenie (Le Crocodile by Rob Feenie)
Thomas Haas (Thomas Haas Patisserie)
David Hawksworth (Hawksworth Restaurant)
Michel Jacob (formerly Le Crocodile)
Roger Ma (Boulevard)
Bruno Marti (Chaine Des Rôtisseurs)
Kate Siegel (Botanist)
Tickets, available online now, are $500 per person, inclusive of all food and drink, with only 100 seats available. The event will feature a multi-course collaborative dinner with cocktail hour and wine pairings, including: Italian wines by Famiglia Zingarelli, Il Contadino Cusano, and Poggio Torselli Wine Estate; BC wines from Cedar Creek, Domaine Artema, Lake Breeze, Le Vieux Pin, Mission Hill Family Estate Winery, and Unsworth Vineyards; and whisky by The Dalmore. Anna Siradze, wine director for AMA, Selene Aegean Bistro, and Nammos Estiatorio, will be the sommelier for the evening.
“We’re thankful to be able to put together such an esteemed line-up of chefs in a meaningful way for a good cause,” explains event organizer Giampaolo Posteraro, founder of Prosciutto & Friends. “Our goal has always been to create unforgettable dining experiences that bring people together, and this evening is a great reflection of that. It’s about celebrating community, amazing food, and supporting organizations which do vital work in the mental health space.”
