BC Wine Trails Magazine announces history making moment in Okanagan winemaking – crush on water.

On Wednesday October 20th, one of the Okanagan’s most exciting wineries, The Vibrant Vine will be performing a mobile grape crush while sailing up Lake Okanagan on a barge pirate style.  Tony Lewis, Winemaker at Vibrant Vines along with his crew – including Rich Priske, WIne Trails writer and former bass player for the Matthew Good Band, will be crushing their grapes with a water powered press after pick up from the historic Naramata packing house at noon. This musical band of pirates will also be playing music and barbecuing.  Landing at Shelter Bay Marina at 4:00 pm, the crew will then load up their juice to be transported to their South Kelowna winery. The pirate theme will launch the look of their new Chardonnay label next year.  http://tastevibrantvines.com/
