It is Joe’s Eggstravaganza $9.95 breakfasts LAST WEEKEND!

We headed to Fortes for breakfast last weekend to sample the $9.95 menu. A complete deal and CGLV (Chef Good Life Vancouver) ordered the Chorizo Hash and loved it!

The first things the servers show up with are sparkling wine and OJ. They’d love to pour you a mimosa, but we opted for Caesers (mine Virgin for a change) and later on a couple of very fresh coffees.

I unfortunately had oysters calling my name AGAIN and then NEEDED lobster benny as opposed to the regular so we didn’t quite have the deal we initially went for, but I did absolutely love the tender lobster pieces and the egg yolks that were were exactly soft-poached as were the ones with the chorizo hash (lobster was worth the extra $11). The deals are still there for one more weekend so if you are going for a shopping spree on Robson stop in, or make some excuse to get there.  (until November 24)

Chorizo Hash chorizo sausage, onions, red peppers, poached eggs, hollandaise, hash browns
