In November 2007, the decision was made by the Metro Vancouver Port Authority not to renew The Cannery’s lease due to new port security regulations. Efforts taken to find a buyer or suitable new location
have been unsuccessful. The restaurant will continue to operate in its present location until March 27th, 2010.

The Cannery will leave a legacy of special moments in the memories of guests and the dedicated staff.  Breathtaking sunsets, a magnificent view of the North Shore and mountains, and wonderful food savoured with friends and family will be fondly remembered.

Whether you celebrated a very special birthday, an anniversary, a first date, a graduation. or the business deal of the century, we invite you to share your stories with us. Three finalists will receive two complimentary tickets each to The Cannery VIP closing reception, where the grand winner will be announced.
