Chefs’ Table Society of BC (CTS) launches fundraiser featuring a speciality chocolate bar. With impacts of COVID-19 pandemic continuing, Chefs’ Table Society has expanded how the organization connects with the chef and food community in BC. CTS partnered with Cacao-Barry, Chez Christophe and Legends Haul to provide a sweet experience that supports the non-profit organization’s long-term goal of building the CTS Culinary Library. The CTS is excited to launch their very first chocolate bar which is now available for purchase online via Legends Haul.

Proceeds of the bar will help to bring the restaurant industry together at Cooks’ Camp 2021 where participants will discuss ways to improve the industry, find new ways to collaborate, and to learn together. Ultimately, funds raised through Cooks’ Camp will be the seed money going towards the long-term goal of building the CTS Culinary Library: a space that will be a centralized and physical location for all cooks and chefs in BC to network and flourish with the exchange of ideas.

The chocolate bar fundraiser is a collaborative effort with CTS directors Alex Tung, Poyan Danesh and Robert Belcham taking the lead. The chocolate bar, produced with the help of Chez Christophe and a chocolate donation from Cacao-Barry, is 35% Chocolate Blanc Caramel: smooth and subtly sweet with caramel notes. Great for sharing, nibbling or enjoying by yourself for only $9.95. And the best part is the bars are delivered right to your door!

Only 500 bars produced means these are a speciality item for that chocolate lover in your life and Valentine’s Day is coming up! Purchasing a bar means supporting the future of the restaurant industry and celebrates collaboration in the field.
