Chowder Cup 2026 – Vancouver’s Ultimate Seafood Showdown
As part of Dine Out Vancouver, the Chowder Cup returns on February 5, 2026—an all-out sustainable seafood chowder brawl where eight chefsbattle for the coveted Chowder Cup trophy. Sea Cider will be there paired with Jonah Joffe from Bar Bravo!
Each competitor creates a signature chowder featuring responsibly sourced BC seafood, paired with a complementary beverage from local brewery/cidery partners. A panel of judges will award Chowder Cup Champion and Best Pairing, while attendees vote for the People’s Choice Award.

BC Seafood Partners
The 2026 Chowder Cup celebrates BC’s seafood industry with support from Uni-Fresco, Organic Ocean Seafood, BC Crab Fishermen’s Association, Golden Eagle Black Cod, BC Shellfish Growers Association (BCSFGA), Underwater Harvesters Association, Skipper Otto, and Pacific Halibut Management Association, with added support for competitors from Fresh Point and BC Dairy.

Why It Matters
Proceeds benefit The Commons by CTS (opened October 2025), a purpose-built culinary hub focused on education, mentorship, preserving BC’s culinary history, and long-term hospitality sustainability.
