Learn how to prepare seafood dishes at fun chef demonstrations and taste the creative and diverse shellfish and seafood items at the tasting booths, while interacting with the world class producers. Witness the battle for the title of Best Oyster Shucker in BC, and the Best Chowder Competition.
Experience interactive displays including live touch tanks and educational booths that provide insights into the science and importance of the aquaculture industry from a wide range of businesses, educational institutions and suppliers. Relax and enjoy live music. The event will be raising funds for the exciting, new training initiative called the Aquaculture Technician Program, at North Island College, which supports a holistic approach to aquaculture training … from species to systems.
