Cook Like a French Chef at Bistro Pastis

“This is my invariable advice to people: Learn how to cook- try new recipes, learn from your mistakes, be fearless, and above all have fun!” said Julia Child, the woman who taught North Americans how to cook on her weekly TV program The French Chef.

In honour of the 100th anniversary of Julia’s birth, our very own French chef, Executive Chef Tobias Grignon, will lead you through a demonstration class of some of Mme. Child’s iconic dishes – including her Beouf Bourguignon. On August 16th, will be offering the special Demonstration Class (à la Julia) along with a Five- Course Taster Menu for $65 (including welcome cocktail). There’s an optional wine pairing for $32. This special tribute to Julia is one night only – Thursday, August 16th starting at 6:30 p.m.

Reservations are a good idea: 604-731-5020 / www.bistropastis.com
