GARLIC & SEAFOOD – Wednesday, November 18th – 6:00-9:00pm

Join Executive Chef Wayne Sych of the Cannery for a class featuring garlic!This pungent, spicy vegetable when cooked, mellows and sweetens to highlight the flavour of any food! Enjoy this delicious, heart healthy ingredient in:
• Classic bruschetta
• Seared halibut with tamarind glaze and garlic chips
• Steamed mussels with lemon garlic aioli
• Roasted broccoli with garlic, pine nuts and parmesan
• Grilled rare ahi tuna with potato salad Nicoise in anchovy basil vinaigrette
• Sautéed prawns with pumpkin seed romescu and avocado salad

Join Chef Kris McPhee tonight for a Greek Feast. This delicious, authentic menu will have you saying ‘Opa’! This evening you will enjoy a menu of:
• Fresh Tzatziki and hummus served with Grilled pita
• Tyropita- a very traditional Greek pie made with Egg, cheese and spinach
• Moussaka- Layers of grilled egg-plant, seasoned slow simmered minced beef and potatoes topped with a creamy cheese sauce
• Kalamarakia Tiganitaa- tender squid pan tossed with fresh oregano, tomato and lemon
• Prawn Flambe with Ouzo- Jumbo tiger prawns tossed with fresh vegetables and flambed with Ouzo
• Baklava- phyllo pastry layered with sugar, butter and almonds

BASICS OF BREAD– PARTICIPATION -Saturday, November 21st – 3:00 – 6:00pm

Join Chef Jenna this morning as she demystifies bread baking. In this hands-on participation class you learn to make two basic bread doughs that will serve as a platform for an unlimited number of variations. Learn to make a basic whole wheat and white flour dough & turn them into:
• Sea salt & rosemary focaccia
• Traditional French baguette and Epis
• Sweet cinnamon rolls with classic cream cheese icing
• Whole wheat apricot, honey & oat loaf

In this evening’s class Chef Jenna will teach you how to cook a variety of delicious holiday appetizers. Bring your better half, sibling, parent or friend to this hands-on class where you will learn to make a variety of appetizers including lamb chops, strudels, tarts, filled choux and more!
