Crime Lab Raises a Glass (or Two) to Tequila. Salud!

on

This September, the Crime Lab Restaurant is celebrating the vivacity and versatility of Tequila. We’ll offer Tequila cocktail specials throughout the month.
Tequila was first made in the 16th century, when Spanish Conquistadors ran out of brandy and turned to the native agave plant to supply their liquid refreshment. Since that time, the appreciation of fine Tequila has spread from Mexico around the world. Throughout September, the Crime Lab will celebrate the tradition by offering three Tequila-based cocktails:
· The Smoking Baja – Corona topped with tequila and fresh line
· The Third Degree – Tequila, Amaretto, and Lime (think Mexico by way of Italy)
· The Blueberry Margarita – Tequila, Triple Sec, lime juice & fresh local blueberries

Crime Lab Restaurant will also host a special tasting of Sauza Hornitos Gold on Friday, September 18th. Sauza Hornitos Gold, one of Mexico’s top-rated premium Tequilas, is made of 100% hand-harvested agave, an unadulterated expression of the revered plant. The tasting will run from 9:00pm to midnight, and will be accompanied by festive drink specials.

So grab your sombrero and join us as we make a run for the border. Olé!
