June 22, 2011; Vancouver, B.C. – Diva at the Met invites visitors and locals alike to explore the summer tastes of British Columbia with the new “Savour B.C.” feature menu. The limited-time menu offers the perfect combination of distinctive cuisine, expertly paired wines, outstanding quality and great value.

The three-course menu, available throughout July and August, has been created by Diva’s Chef Quang Dang to provide a B.C. food cuisine experience highlighting the region’s very best ingredients. Wild salmon, Pemberton beef, heirloom tomatoes and local strawberries are some of the celebrated items featured on the summer-exclusive menu. Restaurant manager and sommelier Corey Bauldry has sourced local wines to pair with each menu selection, providing an all-round dining experience that is quintessentially British Columbian.

“July and August are peak months for both visitors and for local ingredients,” said Diva at the Met’s Chef Quang Dang. “Vancouver’s food and wine has such a great reputation that sampling it is now considered an essential visitor experience. Our Savour B.C. menu makes it easy and affordable for visitors to get a true taste of British Columbia during their stay.”

The menu is available at both lunch and dinner, and priced at $55 per person (plus taxes) including wine pairings, or $39 per person without wine. Wine pairings are 3 ounces with first and second course choices, and 2 ounces with dessert.
