Friday, June 5 is National Doughnut Day in the United States, but Lucky’s Doughnuts refuses to let Vancouverites miss out on such a sweet holiday!
The icing on top — Lucky’s Doughnuts has launched the “Baker’s Dozen Combo.” Go back in time to the neighbourhood bakeries of old and 13 doughnuts for the price of 12, handpicked by our team of doughnut experts ($30).
Rounding out the celebration, Lucky’s will also debut six new summertime flavours:
- Pineapple Upside Downut — Lucky’s play on the classic cake is filled with pineapple curd and topped with brown sugar icing, a slice of candied pineapple and a Maraschino cherry.
- Strawberry/ Kiwi — This classic pairing is filled with a kiwi curd and a strawberry glaze topped with a slice of strawberry and kiwi.
- Blueberry Bismarck — Blueberry filled with a blueberry glaze.
- Blueberry Square — A classic blueberry-filled square doughnut covered in granulated sugar.
- Matcha —Matcha-and-white-chocolate cream-filled doughnut topped with a Yuzu glaze and a matcha drizzle.
- Salted Caramel Old Fashioned — Classic Old-Fashioned dipped in a creamy soft caramel and finished with a sprinkle of Maldon salt.
