Pino Posteraro From Cioppino’s Vancouver Is At Eat! Vancouver
We are counting down to EAT! Vancouver as it’s less than two weeks away! We’ve interviewed some of the chefs participating to get to know them a little better and here’s the scoop from Chef Pino Posteraro from Cioppino’s Vancouver, one of the best Italian restaurants in Vancouver. If you haven’t been here before, you need to, as the food, wine and service is top notch. EAT! Vancouver takes place from November 4 to 9, 2019 and there are all sorts of culinary experiences brought to you by local and visiting chefs. Chef Posteraro is hosting Portland’s Cathy Whims of Nostrana at Cioppino’s in Yaletown on Thursday, November 7th and you can get your tickets for $225 here.
About EAT! Vancouver’s Cioppino’s Dinner
Chef Pino Posteraro was named as Knight of the Order of Star of Italy in 2018, becoming an ambassador for Italian culinary history and technique and was the the first chef to receive this honour in Canada. Chef Whims from Nostana in Portland will be cooking alongside Chef Posteraro on November 7, 2019 at what will be an extraordinary Italian meal. She’s earned her six nominations for James Beard Best Chef Northwest and was recognized as a diplomatic culinary ambassador by Hillary Clinton. This meal will be one that Italian food and wine lovers should not miss.

Moving forward to the future without forgetting our roots, past and culture.

Extra virgin olive oil
What’s your go-to recipe when you’re eating at home?
Using one pan or cooking ingredient without creating a mess , I create recipes

I have them all. I’m blessed.

What is one of the dishes you will prepare for Eat Vancouver?
I don’t know yet as I’m waiting for what the market has to offer at the time.
