Fall news from Bistrot Bistro

on

We are now entering into one of our favourite seasons.  Fall is when our children return to school, we bring out our cozy sweaters and begin preparing our favourite comfort foods.

The team at Bistrot Bistro have been busy welcoming old customers back from summer holidays, and meeting many new ones!  Many folks are calling to book for the holiday season, and while we do not want to rush the fall, we do want to remind you to book early.

Fall menu welcomes back old favourites.

Change of season…. change of menu…the cooler weather has inspired us to warm up our menu with some favourite dishes including the Brussels sprouts, and new autumn inspired items like Braised squash with Moroccan spice. The team at Bistrot Bistro continue to look for inspiration from local food producers, and the Vancouver Aquarium Ocean Wise program for sustainable fish and seafood sources.

Our popular $26 prixe fix menu is available from Sunday to Thursday; check bistrotbistro.com for updates that reflect the season’s inspirations.

Please call us to book your Christmas parties and gatherings (604.732.0004).We have menu would have delighted past guest who are coming back this year from $35  The party season is around the corner, and this will leave you with one less thing to worry about!

CampFyrefly is the Karma Tuesday recipient for October and November

We are putting our Karma Tuesday towards UBC’s CampFyrefly, an outdoor leadership retreat youth camp.  This camp, started at the University of Alberta, is for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans-identified, Two-Spirit, queer, intersex and allied (LGBTTQI&A) youth between the ages of 14 and 24.

Karma Tuesday is our way of giving back to the community – 5% of our sales on Tuesday evenings are donated to local charities and non-profit organizations.
