Description: A town hall style gathering with a panel of experts representing our diverse community addressing key questions on food security followed by a Q & A and small–group discussions.  The community food access survey we conducted in Hastings Sunrise last summer shows that families with young children and seniors feel the high cost of food is a barrier to healthy eating.  Our community has food banks, the Blessed Backpack program and food rescue programs.  We are hosting this community dialogue to learn how we can address the food issues facing members of our community.
