Food & Wine Magazine declares The Corner Suite Bistro De Luxe Canada’s Best New Bar!

The Corner Suite Bistro De Luxe has been named Canada’s Best New Bar in the May 2010 issue of Food & Wine magazine. In their Travel section’s “Super selective guide to the Best of Canada’s Wine & Food”, Steve Da Cruz is interviewed and describes some of the local products and recipes featured in The Genuine Article cocktail program at The Corner Suite. Proud to represent BC, Steve and his partner, André McGillivray, along with Executive Chef Jason Leizert are thrilled to be included with the caliber of talent in the issue. Dedicated to the unearthing of classic recipes and techniques, the bar also features classic absinthe service and more than a few tales of the histories of the spirits that line the back wall.  The Genuine Article is a thirty page menu of classic cocktails, contemporary drinks and even a guestbook featuring the other personalities to be found “on the wood” in Vancouver.
