A supernova of street food carts has erupted onto the curbsides of Vancouver in the past twelve months, transforming what was once a hot dog street food culture into a vibrant, multi-cultural, bustling foodie heaven. The streets of Vancouver will surely put your olfactory senses to work with the smell of beer brined rotisserie chicken, Gulf Island fried oyster Po’Boy, and pork belly sliders. Join the new Foodie Cart Tour to taste award winning street food, meet the cartrepreneurs behind Vancouver’s best curbside kitchens, and hear the incredible stories behind each of them.

Granville Foodie Tour

The Granville Foodie Tour was our #1 most popular tour last summer. This year, we have handpicked the most delicious restaurants and cafes (based on past guests’ reviews) and added a handful of our new favorites to make the tour an even more delectable experience. This tour will take you on a leisurely stroll along the Granville Entertainment District, which is known not only for its vast assortment of pubs, but also home to some of Vancouver’s best market-style dining, a culinary school that has produced many of the city’s most renowned chefs, a burger house that rivals the revered Daniel Boulud’s db Burger, and a quaint bakery that has food critics boasting of the best scones this city has ever known.

Richmond and Downtown Foodie Tours

Many of you have expressed interest in the Richmond Foodie Tour the past several months. And why wouldn’t you?! It’s been one of my favorites. I’ve called Richmond my home for the past 20 plus years and its authentic Asian cuisines are what will keep me a Richmondite for life. Richmond is where you can find the most authentic and delicious Chinese cuisine outside of China, full stop. This includes exquisite Cantonese dim sum, juicy Shanghainese pork dumplings, Korean comfort food, Japanese pub food and Taiwanese bubble tea. The Richmond Foodie Tour is being redesigned and will be relaunched in the not too distant future.

The Downtown Foodie Tour was the first Foodie Tour I hosted, and was held in partnership with Jane’s Walk last spring. There have been many recent additions to the Downtown culinary landscape, and these will be incorporated into the tour when it is offered again in the future.
