Go Nuts with Vancouver Foodster as we present our Fall Flavours event

Local foodie to showcase local producers

Prepare to experience some of the newest and tastiest offerings on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 from 7 to 10 p.m. as Vancouver Foodster, Vancouver’s essential online food and drink guide, celebrates with Go Nuts a Fall event at Bella Gelateria downtown. The event will feature sorbeto and gelato made by Bella Gelateria Maestro James Coleridge with products from local producers including a chocolatier, winemaker, farmer, distiller and chef.

“When I first started Vancouver Foodster 16 months ago, it was because I had a great passion for food and wanted to share it with the public,” explains Richard Wolak, Editor and Publisher of Vancouver Foodster. “The site has far exceeded my expectations, and I want to invite my readers to meet these producers and taste these flavours for the first time.

Participants in this event include local companies Bella Gelateria,  La Taqueria, Vista D’oro Winery, Xoxolat and XFour Vodka. Guests will also have a chance to talk with these master crafters and learn more about the products they grow, harvest, produce and create.

 Flavours

  1. Vista d’oro Walnut Wine Sorbetto
  2. XFour/Xoxolat Choco Tini Gelato
  3. La Taqueria Mole Gelato

“I am absolutely thrilled that we will create exclusive flavours of sorbetto and gelato using local ingredients,” says Wolak. “And, at the same time, bring people together to network, mingle and meet these local producers.”

Tickets are $9.50, $10.50 and $11.50 and will be available for purchase starting Tuesday, November 9. at Vancouver Foodster’s Fall Flavours event.  For more information, please visit www.vancouverfoodster.com.
