Top Independent Grocers Converge in Vancouver April 14-15, 2013
2013 marks the continuation of what has become an annual tradition in the Western Canadian grocery industry. Leading with innovation, inspiration and insight, Canada’s grocers will converge in Vancouver April 14 and 15, 2013 to discuss not only ‘what’s new’, but also ‘what’s next’, for their thriving $80-billion annual industry. Following last year’s milestone 50th Anniversary year, 2013 has become the most highly anticipated show in years – and for the first time at GSW 2013, access to the trade show floor will be FREE for retailers.
The annual Grocery Showcase West (GSW) at the Vancouver Convention Centre is the event for Western grocery retailers to meet with food producers and suppliers from across Canada. The largest show of its kind in Western Canada, GSW is dedicated to serving the growing multi-billion dollar grocery industry by facilitating business partnerships between retailers, major and local manufacturers, private processors, and importers through an active, 350 booth tradeshow as well as various educational conference sessions.
Features such as the Small Processor’s Retailer Forum and the highly popular New Products Showcase foreshadow what Canadian consumers will see on their grocery shelves in the future and, as such, highlight the latest trends in terms of convenience, nutrition and taste.
