Cooking With The Italian Master – July 2, 2011
The winery is excited to announce a returning class hosted by a long time friend – famed Vancouver restaurateur Umberto Menghi! Owner and chef of Il Giardino, Umberto’s, Il Caminetto and Trattoria, Menghi is a culinary force. With a classic Italian menu, this evening combines old friends with amazing food and untold years of culinary mastery. Reception for the event begins at 6:30pm, with dinner starting at 7pm; tickets are $299 per person. Tickets will sell out for this intimate class.
Trama Makes Music Under the Golden Mile Sky – July 8, 2011
Doni Underhill, Ray Roper, Brian Lousley and David Wills are the voices of ‘Trama’, a band which has been a mainstay in the Vancouver music scene for over two decades. Though primarily a classic rock band, they stay current by including some of the newest songs on today’s charts in their sets. They understand their audience and can be counted on to get you on your feet dancing the night away! Playing in Hester Creek’s outdoor amphitheatre, this night of music under the stars is a perfect way to end a long Okanagan summer day. Stretch out, sip and enjoy!
