Market opens 7 days a week

TO MARKET, TO MARKET… 7 DAYS A WEEK FOR BREAKFAST, LUNCH AND DINNER
MARKET by Jean-Georges expands hours and offerings

Beginning Saturday, November 14, MARKET by Jean-Georges will be open seven days a week, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.

An à la carte breakfast is available daily from 7:00 – 11:30 a.m., offering the signature items of three-star Michelin chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten.  Favourite items include waffles with freshly whipped cream ($15), French toast served with crispy bacon and roasted apples ($14), and fried eggs with asparagus, sourdough and bacon croutons ($15).  Among the side dishes, all priced at $5, are Portobello mushrooms, roast Roma tomato, and sausages – Alsatian and chicken & apricot – which Jean-Georges sampled and sourced locally during his most recent Vancouver trip.  Full and hearty breakfast options include a Shangri-La Healthy Start at $29 and a traditional Chinese Breakfast for $28.

The popular MARKET lunch and dinner menus, changed seasonally by Jean-Georges and David Foot, executive chef, Shangri-La Hotel, Vancouver, will now be available Saturday and Sunday.

“Vancouverites have been incredibly supportive of MARKET by Jean-Georges, so when your local community wants you open and accessible on their terms, you act,” said Foot.  “While we had considered opening seven days a week, it was ultimately customer demand that made us take action,”

Located on the 3rd floor of Shangri-La Hotel, Vancouver, the restaurant is open for breakfast from 7:00 to 11:30 a.m.; lunch 11:30 a.m.  to 2:30 p.m.; dinner 5:30 to 10:30 p.m. (last seating); bar weekdays from 11:30 a.m. to midnight and week-ends 4:30 p.m. to midnight.
