MID OCTOBER HIGHLIGHTS

COUPLES COOK! -FONDUE – PARTICIPATION– Wednesday, October 19th – 6:00-9:00pm

Grab some friends and join us tonight for an exciting fondue & raclette menu! This participation class will explore classic and modern versions of fondue and raclette. Learn how to make an array of savoury and sweet fondues with various accompaniments. Tonight’s menu will include:

  • ·  Classic Raclette with melted cheese & white wine – Served with baby potatoes and cornichons
  • ·  Thai Fondue – A coconut, lemongrass & lime leaf infused broth – Served with prawns, mushrooms & thin strips of beef filet
  • ·  Applewood Smoked Cheddar Fondue – Served with crusty baguette, sliced apples, pears, & prosciutto
  • ·  Marinara Fondue – a spicy tomato sauce laced with garlic and herbs – Served with basil wrapped boconcinni, breaded strips of chicken & focaccia bread
  • ·  Dark Chocolate & Grand Marnier Fondue – Served with fresh fruit, biscotti & pound cake

    Join Chef Romy this morning as he demystifies bread baking. In this hands-on participation class you learn to make basic bread doughs that will serve as a platform for an unlimited number of variations. Learn to make a basic whole wheat and white flour dough & turn them into:

  • ·  Sea salt & rosemary focaccia
  • ·  Traditional French baguette and Epis
  • ·  Cinnamon buns with cream cheese icing
